Salem Al-Jundi is an assistant professor of economics at the College of Administration and Economics, Al-Kunooze University, Basra, Iraq, and a reviewer and editorial board member of Data in Brief. He teaches courses in areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, economics of international business, and economic development. His research interests focus on socio-economic problems in developing countries. He has published several peer-reviewed journal articles on administrative corruption, street vending, economic diversification, tax evasion, and slum dwellers.
